Courtesy Heating & AC Assessment With Repair

The Courtesy Heating & AC Assessment With Repair is a brief, non-invasive system review intended to provide homeowners with general insight into the visible condition and operation of their heating or air conditioning equipment. This assessment is not a full maintenance, tune-up, or cleaning, and it is not a replacement for a diagnostic service.

The assessment may include a limited visual and operational review of accessible components to identify obvious conditions such as abnormal noise, visible wear, corrosion, rust, rollout, leaks, or other apparent concerns. The purpose is to inform the homeowner whether the system appears to be operating normally or whether maintenance, repair, or further diagnostic work may be recommended.

Any cleaning, maintenance, repair, diagnostic testing, or component replacement is not included in the courtesy assessment and will be quoted and billed separately if approved by the homeowner.

If a system is currently malfunctioning, non-operational, or experiencing a known failure, the courtesy assessment may not be used in place of a diagnostic service. However, if an issue is visually obvious during the normal course of the courtesy assessment, the technician may, at their discretion, explain the apparent condition to the homeowner and recommend appropriate next steps. Whether a diagnostic fee is required in such cases is determined by the technician based on the scope and clarity of the issue observed.

Acceptance of the courtesy assessment constitutes consent for Monroe Home Solutions to provide professional observations, recommendations, and repair or replacement quotes based on the technician’s findings. No additional work will be performed without homeowner authorization.



$0 Service Call With Repair


The $0 Service Call With Repair offer applies only when the homeowner authorizes and proceeds with a qualifying repair during the same visit.

Under this offer:

  • The standard $89 destination fee (also commonly referred to as a service call fee) is waived when a repair is approved and performed

  • If no repair is approved, the standard service call fee applies

This offer:

  • Does not apply to after-hours service fees

  • Does not waive the $289 after-hours fee, which is charged in addition to any repair costs

  • Applies only during normal business hours unless otherwise stated

After-hours service begins after 5:00 PM Eastern Time and may also apply on weekends or holidays, depending on availability.

This offer:

  • Applies to residential services only

  • May not be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated

  • Applies per visit and is not retroactive

    After-hours service fees are assessed based on appointment time, not call time.

Authorization of a repair constitutes acceptance of the $0 service call offer and related terms.

  • Applies to 40-gallon or larger residential domestic water heaters

  • Applies to atmospheric, power-vent, natural gas, propane, and electric water heaters

  • Does not apply to equipment supplied by the homeowner or third parties

  • Does not apply to used, surplus, or previously owned equipment

  • Does not apply to manufacturer warranty replacements

The $500 Off Installation offer applies to full system replacements supplied and installed by Monroe Home Solutions.

This offer:

  • Applies only to complete boiler, furnace, or air conditioning system installations

  • Does not apply to individual components such as coils, condensers, pumps, or controls installed separately

  • Does not apply to service, repairs, or warranty work

  • Does not apply to homeowner-supplied or used equipment

1-Year Workmanship Guarantee

Monroe Home Solutions provides a 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee on labor performed only on materials, equipment, and components supplied and installed by Monroe Home Solutions.

This guarantee:

  • Does not apply to existing piping, wiring, ductwork, vents, breakers, registers, or other components not replaced by Monroe Home Solutions

  • Does not apply to pre-existing conditions or failures outside the scope of work performed

For repair work, if a replaced component fails due to conditions related to existing equipment (such as worn or pitted seating surfaces, valve bodies, or housings), Monroe Home Solutions may apply an add-on labor rate for corrective work within the guarantee period. In such cases, the homeowner is responsible for the price difference between the original repair and the additional corrective work required.
